As a result, the population increased by 36.4% from 2010 to 2019. Uganda’s total life expectancy is approximately 63.7 years (2019). Finally, over 25% of Uganda’s population resides in metropolitan regions.

Moreover, Uganda’s life expectancy rose from 44.3 years in 1960 to 63.7 years in 2019. To sum up, Uganda maintained consistent population growth despite facing similar barriers as most African countries.
